Shrink Wrap Recycling

If you would like to remove your own shrinkwrap and have Pilots Point recycle it for you, please follow these instructions. Failure to do so will result in an hourly charge to make the removed shrinkwrap suitable for pickup.

1. Remove as much tape (shrink, duct, or otherwise) as possible.
2. Cut cover just above perimeter to remove "belly band" of strapping.
3. Remove vents and doors. You may elect to save these for re-use.
4. Dispose of all strapping, padding, and doors as regular waste.
5. Roll the plastic into a 6 foot long sections small enough to pick up. Make more than one if necessary.
6. Leave under your boat and we will pick it up for you.
